Full-Time, Hourly, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM schedule

Job Summary
The Project Coordinator oversees activities on assigned construction projects, primarily working with contractors and ensuring the production schedule set by the Project Manager is maintained. The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in the planning of the production schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling and Ordering
- Assist Project Manager in the maintenance of the production schedule
- Assist with management of volunteer electrical team, monitoring progression of work and ensuring that materials are ordered and delivered on a timely basis
- Order materials for assigned projects
- Work with construction field team to prepare and schedule inspections for assigned projects
- Work with construction team on daily/weekly/monthly scheduling of labor, tools, and materials
- Assist Project Manager and Family Services team in closing process
Contractor Selection and Management
- Assist in maintenance of a contractor pool that can adequately sustain between 40-60 projects per year
- Work with subcontractors to ensure the scopes are properly understood and executed efficiently
- Scheduling subcontractors and ensuring materials are ordered to complete the job
Administrative
- Approve and process invoices
- Act as construction liaison with future homeowner
- Assist in maintaining project management software (Procore)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Post secondary degree preferred
Experience
- 2 years residential construction project management experience preferred
- Experience working with contractors preferred
- Volunteer management experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The Project Coordinator will have strong organizational skills, the ability to build relationships with a variety of people, knowledge of construction materials and building processes, and customer service skills. In addition, they will need to possess the following:
- Valid Wisconsin driver license and good driving record
- Familiarity with single family home construction techniques preferred
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products, e.g. Word, Excel, Gmail, Drive, Calendar
- Strong organizational skills to manage and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with all staff and volunteers
- Ability to move about rough terrain at site locations
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks

Compensation:
- $22 - $26 per hour based upon experience
- Hourly / Non-Exempt
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
