Construction Facilities Supervisor

Full Time, Salary/ Exempt 7 am - 3:30 pm Tues- Sat

Job Summary:

The Construction Facilities Supervisor plays an integral part on our Construction team by overseeing the operation of our 28,000sq ft facility. The Construction Facilities Supervisor takes ownership of our entire Booth St. facility, with a focus on the woodshop by leading volunteers in woodshop pre-production work, as well as supporting the field team by maintaining scheduled fleet maintenance. The Construction Facilities Supervisor oversees warehouse operations & tool maintenance, while coordinating volunteers and contractors to support construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee facility maintenance, including coordination with contractors for building systems, preventative upkeep, and emergency repairs.
  • Serve as organizational trainer for warehouse equipment (forklift, telehandler, etc.)
  • Support OSHA, DOT, and safety compliance requirements.
  • Lead, train, and support volunteers working in the warehouse and woodshop.
  • Oversee prefabrication of components and support field construction teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required; additional technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse, facilities/ construction operations.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings 
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, safety regulations, and best practices on      construction sites.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and       volunteers
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and good driving record

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, concrete/masonry, and equipment maintenance          preferred.
  • Familiarity with single-family home construction and basic mechanical/equipment repairs.
  • Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Capable of managing projects, processes, deadlines, and a budget while adhering to the policies and         procedures of the organization.
  • Experience working with unskilled volunteers

Compensation and Benefits:  

  • $27 to $30 hourly, dependent on qualifications and experience
